Amy hid her paralizing fear of hieghts by, not looking down, but by looking forward or at Shadow.
The ferris wheel spun around a little and stopped to let more people on. Then again. And again. And again. After a while, they were at the top. Suddenly, it stopped. It wasn't supposed to stop this time.

Teen Shadamy story There was a new girl at school, when she took a look at Sonic she loved him. Amy would chase him all over her first day and the days after, Sonic hated it so much. He called her a pink stalker. As days became weeks, everyone noticed a change in Shadow. He'd stare down a street with a longing look. Especially at the bus stop in the morning. One morning while Shadow was staring down the street Sonic said "Hey Shadow what's been your problem lately?" Shadow said nothing in return; he just crossed his arms and glared at Sonic.
